DTC B1089[F0] Security Lock Not Implemented (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Hi-version[Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Wireless access module programming verification

1) Observe the ECU Lock Status parameter of the wireless access module on the scan tool. Is lock displayed on the ECU Lock Status parameter?

Yes

=>Go to Current DTC check.

No

Perform ECU lock to the wireless access module using a scan tool.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9Z.Body, Cab, Accessories Electrical Control wireless access module setting (with passive entry and start system)".

=>Go to Current DTC check.

3. Current DTC check

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

2) Turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Wireless access module replacement.

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Wireless access module replacement

Note

  • After replacing the wireless access module, programming must be performed.

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
