DTC B1E15[02] RF Signal Failure (Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Current DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

3) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

4) Operate the keyless entry key button several times.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Wireless access module replacement.

No

Go to Intermittent conditions of wireless access module.

Refer to "229.Security and Locks Control 42D.Symptom intermittent conditions of wireless access module".

3. Wireless access module replacement

Note

  • After replacing the wireless access module, programming must be performed.

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Repair verification

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

2) Turn the ignition switch ON/OFF several times.

3) Operate the keyless entry key button several times.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
