1. Wireless access module system check
Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])".
2. Current DTC check
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch.
3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Keyless entry key or transponder key replacement.
No
=>Go to Repair verification.
3. Keyless entry key or transponder key replacement
1) If DTC B1E07[61] is set, replace the keyless entry key or transponder key.
Note
- Programming is required after replacing a keyless entry key or transponder key. Check the programming chapter for the details.
Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9Z.Body, Cab, Accessories Electrical Control wireless access module setting (without passive entry and start system)".
2) After the programming, turn ON the ignition switch again and observe the DTC information. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Wireless access module replacement.
No
=>Go to Repair verification.
4. Wireless access module replacement
Note
- After replacing the wireless access module, programming must be performed.

Procedure completion
=>Go to Repair verification.
5. Repair verification
1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
