1) Tap (lightly turn) the cruise control resume switch 10 times. When the cruise control resume switch is operated, is the speed increased by 1 km/h {0.6 mph} each time?
Yes
=>Go to Indicator light illumination check.

=>Go to Cruise control resume switch signal input check.
1) Check the cruise control indicator light. Does the cruise control indicator light illuminate?
Yes
=>Go to Cruise control temporary cancel check when cruise control cancel switch is operated.

=>Go to Communication-related DTC check.
1) Observe the DTC information for each control module with a scan tool. Is a DTC beginning with U or a DTC related to communication with other control modules set?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

Replace the instrument panel cluster.

1) While observing the Cruise Set/Coast Switch parameter on the scan tool, operate the switch. Is ON displayed when the switch is operated and OFF when it is released?

1) Observe the Cruise Main Switch parameter on the scan tool while momentarily connecting a fused jumper wire between the ignition power supply circuit and the signal circuit of the cruise control main switch of the cruise control steering wheel switch harness connector (pins 10 and 11 of B34). Does the scan tool display ON when the circuits are connected with a jumper wire and display OFF when the circuits are not connected?
