1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 15 seconds or more.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is DTC B1900[00], B1901[00], B1902[00], B1903[00], B1904[00], B1905[00], B1906[00], or B190F[00] set at the same time?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
No
1) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC other than DTC B1053[49] set?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
No
1) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool for DTC B1053[49] being set as a current failure. Is a DTC set?
Yes
No
=>Go to SRS control unit replacement.
1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 15 seconds or more.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to SRS control unit replacement.
No

Procedure completion
1) Reconnect all of the disconnected harness connectors.
2) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
3) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 15 seconds or more.
4) Turn ON the ignition switch.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
