DTC P0814 (Flash Code 93) Transmission Range Display Circuit (AWR6B45)

1. Transmission control system check

Refer to "55.Transmission Control 5A.Troubleshooting(AWR6B45) diagnostic system check-transmission controls".

2. Prioritized DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Operate the selector lever, and make a round at all ranges from the P range to the D range.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC other than DTC P0814 set at the same time?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

No

=>Go to TCM replacement.

3. TCM replacement

Refer to "5.Transmission, Transaxle 5Z.Transmission Electrical Control(AWR6B45) TCM removal".

Refer to "5.Transmission, Transaxle 5Z.Transmission Electrical Control(AWR6B45) TCM installation".

Refer to "5.Transmission, Transaxle 5Z.Transmission Electrical Control(AWR6B45) TCM setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Operate the selector lever, and make a round at all ranges from the P range to the D range.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
