Refer to "64.Body Control 10I.Troubleshooting(BCM) diagnostic system check-body controls".
1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Start the engine and operate the light control switch to the OFF position.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Inspection for short to power supply in DRL output circuit.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of body control system.
Refer to "223.Body Control 36D.Symptom(BCM) intermittent conditions of body control system".
1) Disconnect the BCM harness connector (C18).
2) Remove the DRL2 relay.
3) Inspect the DRL (left) output circuit between the BCM (pin 8 of C18) and the DRL2 relay (pin 2 of R12 DRL 2) for a short to the power supply circuit. Is the result normal?

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
