Refer to "64.Body Control 10I.Troubleshooting(BCM) diagnostic system check-body controls".
1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Operate the power door lock switch to the lock and unlock sides.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Door lock motor (lock) drive circuit inspection.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of body control system.
Refer to "223.Body Control 36D.Symptom(BCM) intermittent conditions of body control system".
1) Disconnect the following harness connector.
2) Inspect the door lock motor (lock) drive circuit between the BCM (pin 18 of B20) and each door lock motor for the following. Is the result normal?

=>Go to Door lock motor (unlock) drive circuit inspection.
No
Repair the circuit as necessary.
1) Inspect the door lock motor (unlock) drive circuit between the BCM (pin 17 of B20) and each door lock motor for the following. Is the result normal?

No
Repair the circuit as necessary.
1) Connect a fused jumper wire between the battery power supply and the door lock motor (lock) drive circuit (pin 18 of B20).
2) Connect a fused jumper wire between the door lock motor (unlock) drive circuit (pin 17 of B20) and the body ground.

Refer to "RHD Body Control (4JJ3 with DPD)" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

3) Check the door lock motor operation. Does the door lock motor operate when a fused jumper wire is connected to the battery power supply?
Yes
=>Go to BCM harness connector inspection.
No
Replace door locks that do not operate.

1) Inspect for poor connections at the BCM harness connector (pins 17 and 18 of B20). Is the connection status normal?
