1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch.
3) Operate the shift lever to the position shown in the following.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Wire harness and connector inspection.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of parking aid system.
Refer to "233.Driver Assistance System 46D.Symptom(Parking Aid) intermittent conditions of parking aid system".
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Disconnect the parking aid system control unit harness connector (C16).
3) Disconnect all the front sonar sensor harness connectors.
4) Inspect the wire harnesses and connectors for the following. Is the result normal?
