DTC C1113[02] Parking Aid Front Inner Right Sonar Sensor - Noise Detection (Parking Aid)

1. Parking aid system check

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Parking Aid) diagnostic system check - parking aid system controls".

2. Current DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Operate the shift lever to the position shown in the following.

  • A position other than the neutral position (Manual transmission models)
  • D or R position (Automatic transmission models)

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Front inner right sonar sensor installation status inspection.

No

Go to Intermittent conditions of parking aid system.

Refer to "233.Driver Assistance System 46D.Symptom(Parking Aid) intermittent conditions of parking aid system".

3. Front inner right sonar sensor installation status inspection

1) Inspect the installation status of the front inner right sonar sensor. Is the result normal?

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9E.Instrumentation, Driver Info. sonar sensor installation".

Yes

=>Go to Front outer right sonar sensor inspection.

No

Repair as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Front outer right sonar sensor inspection

1) Inspect the front inner right sonar sensor for the following. Is the result normal?

Inspection items

  • There should be no objects that block ultrasonic waves output from the sonar sensor.
  • There should be no deformation of the sonar sensor.
  • There should be no foreign materials adhered to the sonar sensor.

Yes

=>Go to Current DTC follow-up check.

No

Repair or replace as necessary.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9E.Instrumentation, Driver Info. sonar sensor removal".

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9E.Instrumentation, Driver Info. sonar sensor installation".

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. Current DTC follow-up check

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Operate the shift lever to the position shown in the following.

  • A position other than the neutral position (Manual transmission models)
  • D or R position (Automatic transmission models)

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Parking aid system control unit replacement.

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

6. Parking aid system control unit replacement

Note

  • Perform programming after replacing the parking aid system control unit.

=>Go to Repair verification.

7. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Operate the shift lever to the position shown in the following.

  • A position other than the neutral position (Manual transmission models)
  • D or R position (Automatic transmission models)

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
