1. Parking aid system check

2. Vehicle information programming
1) Perform parking aid system control unit programming.
Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9Z.Body, Cab, Accessories Electrical Control parking aid system control unit setting".
Procedure completion
=>Go to Current DTC check.
3. Current DTC check
1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Parking aid system control unit replacement.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of parking aid system.
Refer to "233.Driver Assistance System 46D.Symptom(Parking Aid) intermittent conditions of parking aid system".
4. Parking aid system control unit replacement
Note
- Perform programming after replacing the parking aid system control unit.

5. Repair verification
1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
