DTC C1106[57] Software Compatibility Error (Radar Sensor (Left))

1. Radar sensor system check

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Left)) Diagnostic system check-radar sensor system".

2. Current DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Check for Dataset Version ID of radar sensor (Left).

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

3. Check for Dataset Version ID of radar sensor (Left)

1) Display the radar sensor (Left) Module Information with a scan tool.

2) Observe the Dataset Version ID of the radar sensor (Left) with a scan tool. Is the Dataset Version ID of the radar sensor (Left) displayed as follows?

=>Go to Radar sensor (Left) Bumper Type check.

No

Replace the radar sensor (Left).

=>Go to Check for Dataset Version ID of radar sensor (Right).

4. Radar sensor (Left) Bumper Type check

1) Display Program Vehicle Configuration Data for the radar sensor (Left) on the scan tool.

2) Observe the Current Value(s) of the Bumper Type on a scan tool. Is the Current Value(s) of the Bumper Type displayed as follows?

Integrated without RUP

Yes

=>Go to Check for Dataset Version ID of radar sensor (Right).

No

Set the correct Bumper Type from Programming on the scan tool.

=>Go to Check for Dataset Version ID of radar sensor (Right).

5. Check for Dataset Version ID of radar sensor (Right)

1) Display the radar sensor (Right) Module Information with a scan tool.

2) Observe the Dataset Version ID of the radar sensor (Right) with a scan tool. Is the Dataset Version ID of the radar sensor (Right) displayed as follows?

=>Go to Radar sensor (Right) Bumper Type check.

No

Replace the radar sensor (Right).

6. Radar sensor (Right) Bumper Type check

1) Display Program Vehicle Configuration Data for the radar sensor (Right) on the scan tool.

2) Observe the Current Value(s) of the Bumper Type on a scan tool. Is the Current Value(s) of the Bumper Type displayed as follows?

Integrated without RUP

Yes

=>Go to Current DTC follow-up check.

No

Set the correct Bumper Type from Programming on the scan tool.

=>Go to Current DTC follow-up check.

7. Current DTC follow-up check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Radar sensor (Left) and radar sensor (Right) replacement.

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

8. Radar sensor (Left) and radar sensor (Right) replacement

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9E.Instrumentation, Driver Info. radar sensor removal".

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9E.Instrumentation, Driver Info. radar sensor installation".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

9. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
