AIR FUEL RATIO (A/F) SENSOR, HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo]

Warning

•  A hot engine and exhaust system can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until they are cool before removing the exhaust system.

L.H.D.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the charge air cooler duct. (SeeINTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

3.  Remove the HO2S clip. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

4.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

R.H.D.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the charge air cooler. (SeeINTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

3.  Set the blake vacuum hose out of the way. (See VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the blake reserve tank set it out of the way. (See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D. (MTX)].)(See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D. (ATX)].)(See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [R.H.D. (MTX)].)(See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [R.H.D. (ATX)].)

5.  Remove the insulator (master cylinder side). (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

6.  Remove the HO2S clip. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

7.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
