BONNET LATCH SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Seal board upper (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Front combination light (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Horn (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Shroud upper member (See SHROUD UPPER MEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the bonnet latch switch connector. (See BONNET LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

•  Inspect the continuity when the bonnet is open and closed. (See BONNET LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

•  If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the bonnet latch. (See BONNET LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
