WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Windshield Washer Hose A (Front Fender)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front mudguard (RH). (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose A from the washer motor.

4.  Remove the windshield washer hose A from the washer tank hook. (See Windshield washer hose A installation note.)

5.  Remove the windshield washer hose A from clips A and B.

6.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose B from the joint pipe A. (See Windshield washer hose B installation note.)

7.  Remove the windshield washer hose A.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Windshield washer hose A installation note

1.  When installing windshield washer hose A to the washer tank hook, install it with the upper end of the gray mark aligned to the hook.

Windshield washer hose B installation note

1.  When installing windshield washer hose B to joint pipe A, install joint pipe A further in towards the inner side of the vehicle than the active bonnet.

Windshield Washer Hose B (Cowl Grille)

R.H.D.

1.  Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Disconnect the joint pipe A from the windshield washer hose A. (See Windshield washer hose B installation note.)

3.  Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose B, C, and I from the joint pipe B.

5.  Disconnect the joint pipe H from the windshield washer hose I.

6.  Disconnect the joint pipe H from the windshield washer hose J.

7.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose J from the windshield washer nozzle (RH).

8.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose C from the joint pipe C.

9.  Disconnect the joint pipe C from the windshield washer hose D.

10.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose D from the joint pipe D.

11.  Disconnect the joint pipe D from the windshield washer hose E.

12.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose E from the joint pipe E.

13.  Disconnect the joint pipe E from the windshield washer hose F.

14.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose F from the joint pipe F.

15.  Disconnect the joint pipe F from the windshield washer hose G.

16.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose G from the joint pipe G.

17.  Disconnect the joint pipe G from the windshield washer hose H.

18.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose H from the windshield washer nozzle (LH).

19.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Disconnect the joint pipe A from the windshield washer hose A. (See Windshield washer hose B installation note.)

4.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose B, C, and I from the joint pipe B.

5.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose I from the windshield washer nozzle (RH).

6.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose C from the joint pipe C.

7.  Disconnect the joint pipe C from the windshield washer hose D.

8.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose D from the joint pipe D.

9.  Disconnect the joint pipe D from the windshield washer hose E.

10.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose E from the joint pipe E.

11.  Disconnect the joint pipe E from the windshield washer hose F.

12.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose F from the joint pipe F.

13.  Disconnect the joint pipe F from the windshield washer hose G.

14.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose G from the joint pipe G.

15.  Disconnect the joint pipe G from the windshield washer hose H.

16.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose H from the windshield washer nozzle (LH).

17.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
