POWER OUTER MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Fully open the front door glass.

2.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the following parts.

(1)  Inner garnish (See INNER GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Power window main switch component (to remove from driver's side) (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Power window subswitch component (to remove from passenger's side) (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)  Front door trim (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connectors.

5.  Move the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the hooks on the service hole cover from the front door panel.

6.  Remove the service hole cover.

7.  Remove the bolt.

Caution
•  If the clip is removed, the power outer mirror may fall off and be damaged. When removing the clip, perform the work while supporting the power outer mirror with your hand.

8.  Pull the power outer mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure while detaching the clips and pins.

9.  Remove the power outer mirror.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Power Outer Mirror Installation Note.)

11.  Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (With 360° view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)


Power Outer Mirror Installation Note

1.  If the wiring harness is routed mistakenly, the front door glass and the wiring harness will interfere with each other when opening/closing the front door glass which could damage the wiring harness. When routing the wiring harness, route it behind the glass guide and the underside of the guide bracket.
