HOOD RELEASE LEVER AND RELEASE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Remove the select lever knob. (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the following parts.

(1)  Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Console panel (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Driver-side scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Driver-side lower panel (See DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Front tires (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Front over fender (See FRONT OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Front mud guard (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(10)  Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(11)  Front combination light (driver's side) (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the hood release cable from the hood latch. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the hood release cable from the tab.

6.  Remove the hood release cable from clips A and B.

7.  Remove the grommet from the body panel.

8.  Remove the hood release cable.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

10.  Perform the 360°view monitor system aiming. (with 360°view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)

11.  Perform the front radar sensor/front side radar sensor aiming. (With front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR/FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

12.  Perform the front radar sensor aiming. (Without front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)
