FRONT FENDER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the wiper arm and blade. (See WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect washer hose B from joint pipe A. (See WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Front bumper slider (See FRONT BUMPER SLIDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Front combination light (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Side step molding (See SIDE STEP MOLDING REMOVAL.) (See SIDE STEP MOLDING INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Door (See DOOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Front fender insulator (See FRONT FENDER INSULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Disconnect the side turn light connectors.

6.  Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.

7.  Remove the fasteners.

8.  Remove the edge rubber.

9.  Remove the fasteners.

Caution

•  If a different type of metal such as iron contacts the aluminum panel (aluminum), it could corrode the aluminum. Use exclusive surface finished bolts for the aluminum panel installation.

10.  Remove the bolts.

11.  Remove the front fender panel.

12.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
