ULTRASONIC SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper stay (See REAR BUMPER STAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear bumper retainer No.1 (See REAR BUMPER RETAINER No.1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

5.  Disconnect the connectors.

6.  Pull clip A,B,C and D in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the tab of clip A,B,C and D in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, and detach the tab of clip A,B,C and D and rear bumper.

7.  Remove the rear ultrasonic sensor short-cord.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
