Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Is DTC U0028:87 displayed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
2	INSPECT BCM •  Inspect the BCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM].) •  Is the DTC displayed?	Yes	•  Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [BCM].) •  After completing a separate DTC inspection, go to the next step.
		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Is DTC U0028:87 displayed?	Yes	Replace the BCM. (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
