DTC P02E0:13

Intake shutter valve actuator control circuit open

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors the intake shutter valve actuator control circuit signal. If the actual signal is less than the signal requested by the PCM, the PCM determines that the intake shutter valve actuator control circuit has a malfunction.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Intake shutter valve actuator connector or terminal malfunction
•  Intake shutter valve actuator malfunction
•  PCM connector or terminal malfunction
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between intake shutter valve actuator terminal D and PCM terminal 134
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between intake shutter valve actuator terminal E and PCM terminal 146
•  PCM malfunction

Diagnostic procedure

STEP

INSPECTION

ACTION

1
VERIFY FREEZE FRAME DATA HAS BEEN RECORDED
•   Has the FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?
Yes
Go to the next step.
