DTC P2463:00 DTC P2463:22 DTC P246C:00 |
Diesel particulate filter restriction |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
• The PCM calculates the diesel particulate filter soot accumulation based on the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor signal. If the accumulated amount of soot calculated by the PCM exceeds the threshold value, the PCM determines that there is an excessive accumulation of soot in the diesel particulate filter.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor piping restriction and/or damaged
• Diesel particulate filter restriction and/or damaged
• PCM malfunction

INSPECT DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR PIPING
• Inspect for connection and condition at diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor side piping.
• Is there any clacked damaged and/or misconnection found?
Yes
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results, then go to Step 6.
No
Go to the next step.
5
PERFORM DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER STATIC REGENERATION
• Clear the DTC from PCM memory using the M-MDS.
• Perform the DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER STATIC REGENERATION.
• Run the vehicle the FREEZE FRAME DATA stored condition.
• Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Visually inspect the diesel particulate filter.
• If there is any malfunction:
• If there is no malfunction:
No
Go to the next step.
