1.  Remove the fuel line bracket.

2.  Using the bolts part number 99794 1025 or M10×1.25, length 25 mm {0.99 in} to install the SST to the position shown in the figure, hang the engine and transaxle, and then take it down from the engine jack.

3.  Remove the joint shaft. (See JOINT SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR1.3, MZR 1.5].)

4.  Remove the engine from the transaxle. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FN4A-EL] (ATX).) (See CVT (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [DJVA-EL] (CVT).) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F35M-R] (MTX).)

5.  Remove the EGR pipe. (See EGR PIPE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)

6.  Remove the EGR valve component.

7.  Remove the intake-air system. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)

8.  Remove the exhaust system. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)

9.  Remove the water bypass pipe.

10.  Remove the ignition coils. (See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)

11.  Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].)

12.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
