POSSIBLE CAUSE				•  There is no transponder in the key. •  Transponder malfunction (key code is not output.) •  If any of the following items are touching or near key head, signal communication between key and vehicle is negatively affected, resulting in engine not starting. ―   am2zzw00006144 ―  Spare keys ―  Keys for other vehicles equipped with immobilizer system ―  Any metallic object ―  Any electronic device, or any credit or other card with magnetic strips •  Coil antenna malfunction •  Keyless control module malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

1	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Perform the immobilizer system DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Is the following DTC present? ―  Keyless control module: B10D7:94 ―  PCM: P1260:00	Yes	Go to Step 3.
		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Perform the immobilizer system DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Is the following DTC present? ―  Keyless control module: B10D7:05 ―  PCM: P1260:00	Yes	Perform the security light: 13, M-MDS: Inspect B10D7:05/P1260:00 inspection. (See SECURITY LIGHT: 13, DTC: B10D7:05/P1260:00 [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].)
		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY WHETHER KEY IS VALID OR NOT •  Are there any keys with which the engine can be started, other than the key that is a cause of the displayed DTC?	Yes	Go to Step 5.
		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY WHETHER MALFUNCTION IS IN KEY OR COIL ANTENNA •  Program an additional key. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Using the programmed key, turn the ignition switch to the ON position. •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Perform the immobilizer system DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Is the following DTC present? ―  Keyless control module: B10D7:94 ―  PCM: P1260:00	Yes	Replace the coil antenna, then go to Step 6. (See COIL ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)
		No	Dispose of the malfunctioning key. Program a new key if necessary. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) Go to Step 8.
5	VERIFY WHETHER MALFUNCTION IS IN KEY OR COIL ANTENNA •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Perform the immobilizer system DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Is the following DTC present? ―  Keyless control module: B10D7:94 ―  PCM: P1260:00	Yes	Replace the coil antenna, then go to the next step. (See COIL ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)
		No	Dispose of the malfunctioning key. Program a new key if necessary. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) Go to Step 8.
6	PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY THAT MALFUNCTIONING PART IS KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Perform the immobilizer system DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Is the following DTC present? ―  Keyless control module: B10D7:94 ―  PCM: P1260:00	Yes	Replace the keyless control module and program the immobilizer system-related parts. (See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) Go to the next step.
		No	Go to Step 8.
7	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Perform the immobilizer system DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].) •  Is the following DTC present? ―  Keyless control module: B10D7:94 ―  PCM: P1260:00	Yes	Inspect the DTC P1260:00. (See DTC P1260:00 [MZR 1.3, MZR 1.5].) (See MZ-CD 1.6.)
		No	Go to the next step.
8	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT •  Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM)].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
