Advanced keyless entry system
The BCM performs control of the advanced keyless entry system based on the request signal from the LF control unit.

Keyless entry system
The BCM performs control of the keyless entry system based on the request signal from the LF control unit.

Push button start system

Theft-deterrent system
The BCM controls the theft-deterrent system based on the signals from the door latch switch, liftgate latch switch, hood latch switch, and door lock link switch.

Dark current reduction function

•  When a certain period of time elapses after the ignition is switched OFF, the body control module (BCM) cuts off the power supply input circuit of the CAN communication and the body control module (BCM) and reduces dark current to prevent battery discharge.
•  When the dark current reduction function is operated, the body control module (BCM) sends the following requests.
―  Screen display request (See MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY.)
―  Warning sound activation request (See NOTIFICATION AND WARNING SPEAKER.)

•  The body control module (BCM) is located on the inside of the front side trim (LH).
