DTC P1101 DTC P2279 |
Mass air flow sensor signal — out of self-test range Intake-air system leakage |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors intake air flow using the MAF sensor signal. If the engine speed is 650 rpm or more and the intake air amount calculated from the MAF sensor signal for 4.5 s is not within the threshold calculated from the engine speed, the PCM determines that the MAF sensor signal is in error and/or the intake-air system has air leakage.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Air leakage from intake air system
• Incorrect vacuum hose routine
• Contamination in MAF sensor
• Turbocharger system in overboost condition
• PCM malfunction
|
