DTC P1632

Generator state signal malfunction - invalid data

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors and compared the generator control signal and the generator state signal. If the generator state signal is detected invalid data input to PCM for 25 s, the PCM determines that the generator control circuit has a malfunction.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Generator connector or terminal malfunction
•  Short to ground in wiring harness between generator terminal C and PCM terminal 213
•  Generator malfunction
•  PCM connector or terminal malfunction
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between generator terminal C and PCM terminal 213
•  PCM malfunction
