ENGINE DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop]

1.  Remove the engine from the transaxle. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R (MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop)](MTX).) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL](ATX).)

2.  Remove the intake-air system. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

3.  Remove the exhaust system. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

4.  Remove the generator. (See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

5.  Remove the EGR valve. (See EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

6.  Remove the ignition coils. (See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

7.  Remove the high pressure fuel pump and high pressure fuel pump cover. (See HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

8.  Remove the fuel injectors. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

9.  Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

10.  Remove the power relay. (See POWER RELAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

11.  Remove the drive belt auto tensioner.

12.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
