Welcome Illumination Operation

•  Illuminates the following illuminations based on the signals from the instrument cluster:
―  Climate control unit illumination
―  Action illumination of the audio panel (See AUDIO UNIT CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.)
―  Audio switch illumination (See AUDIO UNIT CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.)
―  Instrument cluster illumination
•  "Zoom-Zoom" is displayed on the multi information display (Display 1) or information display. (See MULTI INFORMATION DISPLAY CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.) (See INFORMATION DISPLAY CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.)

Illumination conditions

•  Illuminates the welcome illumination when the following conditions are met:
―  Switch the ignition to off (LOCK)
―  TNS OFF
―  Approx. 4 s have passed since the driver's door was opened


Illumination off conditions

•  Turns off the welcome illumination when any of the following conditions are met:
―  Approx. 30 s have passed since the illumination conditions are met
―  Welcome illumination-off signal is received from the instrument cluster
―  Switch the ignition to ACC or ON
―  TNS ON


Illumination operation

•  If the instrument cluster receives a driver's door condition signal (CAN signal) from the BCM and the illumination conditions are met, a welcome illumination-on signal is sent to each unit.
•  After detecting the welcome illumination-on signal, each unit starts illumination/display as shown in the figure.

Illumination off operation

•  The instrument cluster sends a welcome illumination-off signal when the lights-off conditions are met, and the illumination of each unit is turned off or switched to normal operation.


Welcome Sound Operation

•  The audio unit operates welcome sound when the operation conditions are met. For the operation conditions, refer to "AUDIO UNIT CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION".
