DTC P0071:00

Exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor circuit range/performance malfunction

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors the temperature from exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor signal. If the temperature is less than 13 °C {55 °F}, the PCM determines that there is a malfunction in exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor.
Diagnostic support note
•  The MIL does not illuminate.
•  The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor connector or terminal malfunction
•  Exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor malfunction
•  PCM connector or terminal malfunction
•  PCM malfunction
