OIL SEAL (DIFFERENTIAL) REPLACEMENT [A26M-R]

1. On level ground, jack up the vehicle and support it evenly on safety stands.
2. Remove the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Drain the oil from the transaxle. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [A26M-R].)
4. Remove the front tires. (See GENERAL PROCEDURES (SUSPENSION).)
5. Remove the splash shields. (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
6. Disconnect the front auto leveling sensor link. (See AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
7. Disconnect the drive shaft (LH) from the transaxle. (See DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
8. Disconnect the drive shaft (RH) from the joint shaft. (See DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
9. Remove the joint shaft. (See JOINT SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
10. Remove the oil seals using a flathead screwdriver.

11. Using the SSTs and a hammer, tap each new oil seal in evenly until the SSTs contact the transaxle case.

12. Coat the lip of each oil seal with transaxle oil.
13. Install the joint shaft. (See JOINT SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
14. Install the drive shaft (RH) to the joint shaft. (See DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
15. Install the drive shaft (LH) to the transaxle. (See DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
16. Connect the front auto leveling sensor link. (See AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
17. Install the splash shields. (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
18. Install the front tires. (See GENERAL PROCEDURES (SUSPENSION).)
19. Add the specified amount and type of oil. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [A26M-R].)
20. Install the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
