LICENSE PLATE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  License plate light bulb (See LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove tab shown in the figure and detach the license plate light from the rear bumper.

4.  Disconnect the license plate light connector and remove the license plate light.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the liftgate garnish. (See LIFTGATE GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the tabs.

4.  Remove the license plate light.

5.  Disconnect the connector.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
