1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Insert hand through the service hole, release the tab in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, and pull area A in the direction of the arrow (2) to remove the cargo compartment light.

3.  Disconnect the cargo compartment light connector.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the liftgate side trim. (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the liftgate lower trim. (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Detach the tab and remove the cargo compartment light.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
