INBOARD LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:

(1) Recess (4SD) (See RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2) Trunk lid trim (4SD) (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3) Liftgate upper trim (5HB, WGN) (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4) Liftgate side trim (5HB, WGN) (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5) Liftgate lower trim (5HB, WGN) (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

Rear fog light bulb (driver-side) (with rear fog light), back-up light bulb (driver-side) (without rear fog light)/back-up light bulb (passenger-side)

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inboard Light Installation Note

1. Insert the inboard light into the trunk lid (liftgate) as shown in the figure, then pivot it inward and fix in place.

2. Push the bracket onto the trunk lid (liftgate) as shown in the figure and install.
