CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Meter hood cover (See METER HOOD COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Audio panel (See AUDIO PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screws.

4.  Move the center panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3), and (4) shown in the figure, and remove it while detaching the clips A, clips B.

5.  Disconnect the hazard warning switch connector.

6.  Remove the center panel.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Note

•  When replacing the center panel, remove the following parts:

―  Center ventilator grille (See VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

―  Side ventilator grille (passenger-side) (See VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

―  Hazard warning switch (See HAZARD WARNING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
