PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
• Perform the DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE.
• Is the same DTC present?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Intermittent concern exists. Go to the INTERMITTENT CONCERN TROUBLESHOOTING procedure.
|

|
INSPECT IGNITION COIL CONNECTOR
• Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
• Disconnect ignition coil connector.
• Check for poor connection (damaged, pulled-out terminals, corrosion, etc.).
• Is there any malfunction?
|
Yes
|
Repair or replace the terminals, then go to Step 9.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
INSPECT IGNITION COIL POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT for an open circuit CIRCUIT
• Disconnect ignition coil connector.
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON (Engine off).
• Measure the voltage between ignition coil terminal B (harness-side) and body ground.
• Is the voltage B+?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair or replace the wiring harness for an open circuit, then go to Step 9.
|

|
INSPECT IGNITION COIL SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER
• Measure the voltage between ignition coil terminal A (harness-side) and body ground.
• Is the voltage B+?
|
Yes
|
Repair or replace the wiring harness for a short to power, then go to Step 9.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
INSPECT IGNITION COIL SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
• Check continuity between ignition coil terminal A (harness-side) and body ground.
• Is there continuity?
|
Yes
|
Repair or replace the wiring harness for a short to ground, then go to Step 9.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR
• Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
• Disconnect the PCM connector.
• Check for poor connection (damaged, pulled-out terminals, corrosion, etc.).
• Is there any malfunction?

Yes
|
Repair or replace the terminals, then go to Step 9.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
INSPECT IGNITION COIL SIGNAL CIRCUIT for an open circuit CIRCUIT
• Check continuity between PCM terminal 1B (harness-side) and ignition coil terminal A (harness-side).
• Is there continuity?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair or replace the wiring harness for an open circuit, then go to Step 9.
|

|
INSPECT IGNITION COIL
• Inspect the ignition coil.
• Is the ignition coil normal?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Replace the ignition coil, then go to the next step.
|

|
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P0352 COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Engine off).
• Clear the DTC from memory using the WDS or equivalent.
• Perform the KOEO/KOER self-test.
(See KOEO/KOER SELF-TEST [LF, L3].)
• Is the PENDING CODE for this DTC present?

Yes
|
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform the "After Repair Procedure".
• Are any DTCs present?
|
Yes
|
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
(See DTC TABLE [LF, L3].)
|
No
|
Troubleshooting completed.
