EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the plug hole plug. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3].)

3. Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

• Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [LF, L3].)

EGR Valve Removal Note

1. Remove the air hose. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3])

2. Remove the upper radiator hose. (See RADIATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3].)
