Caution
•  Performing the following procedures without first removing the ABS wheel-speed sensor may possibly cause an open circuit in the wiring harness if it is pulled by mistake. Before performing the following procedures, remove the ABS wheel-speed sensor (axle side) and fix it to an appropriate place where the sensor wiring harness will not be pulled by mistake while servicing the vehicle.

1.  Remove the aerodynamic under cover No. 2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Set the front mudguard out of the way. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the splash shield.

4.  Drain the transaxle oil or ATF. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [G35M-R].) (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [G66M-R].) (SeeTRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [A26M-R].) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT [FS5A-EL].)

5.  Disconnect the front auto leveling sensor link. (Vehicle with discharge headlight system) (See AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Nut (lower arm) Installation Note

Caution
•  The tightening torque of the nut (lower arm) differs depending on whether thread-locking compound is applied to the stud bolt or not. Verify if thread-locking compound is applied to the stud bolt or not, and tighten the nut (lower arm) using the specified tightening torque.

1.  Visually verify the stud bolt of the knuckle and identify if thread-locking compound is applied to the stud bolt or not.
