DETECTION CONDITION
•  C0062:86
―  Combined sensor ((lateral-G part)) internal malfunction is detected.
•  C0063:86
―  Combined sensor (yaw rate part) internal malfunction is detected.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Combined sensor internal malfunction

Diagnostic procedure

ACTION
1
VERIFY COMBINED SENSOR MALFUNCTION
•  Clear the DTCs from the memory.
•  Start the engine and drive the vehicle at 3 km/h {2 mph} or more.
•  Are the same DTCs present?
Yes
Replace the combined sensor, then go to the next step.

No
Go to the next step.
2
VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
•  Clear the DTCs from the memory.
•  Start the engine and drive the vehicle at 3 km/h {2 mph} or more.
•  Are the same DTCs present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step.

No
Go to the next step.
3
VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT
•  Are any other DTCs output?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
