Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

Air Mass Sensor Replacement:





REMOVAL
1. Detach plug connection (B2/2x1) at hot wire mass air flow sensor (B2/2).
2. Loosen hose clips (32).
3. Remove mass air flow sensor (B2/2).
4. Before connection hose (31) removal, Note it's installed position (arrow). Remove connection hose and inspect. Replace if necessary.

INSTALLATION
1. Install in reverse order.
2. Extract and reset fuel injection control module diagnostic trouble code memory.

NOTE: Stored trouble codes may be caused by detached cables or repair work.
