Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement:

1. Remove screw (arrow).
2. Remove crankshaft position sensor (L5).
3. Take lead to ignition control module out of cable shaft.
4. Install crankshaft position sensor (L5).
5. Install screw (arrow) and torque to 10 Nm (7.4 ft lb).
6. Extract and reset fuel injection control module diagnostic trouble code memory.

NOTE: Stored trouble codes may be caused by detached cables or repair work.
