Rod Bearing Cap Torque


NOTE:
- Lubricate all bolt threads and bearing surfaces with engine oil before installation.
- Do Not use flex beam type torque wrench for angle tightening phase.

NOTE: 1st version is only applicable to engine 119.960.

Second Version Bolt





New Bolts (First Tightening): 45 Nm
Retightened Bolts: 40 Nm
Tightening Angle: 90°

CAUTION: It is essential to observe these instructions otherwise conrod bolts may slacken.

Third Version Bolt





New Bolts (First Tightening): 40 Nm
Retightened Bolts: 30 Nm
Tightening Angle: 90°
