1 Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and store basic data from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) temporarily in STAR DIAGNOSIS
- When replacing the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)

NOTE:
- Installation: Transfer basic data stored on an interim basis to the new driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
- Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS

2 Disconnect ground cable of battery
3 Open hood and raise to vertical position
4 Disengage lever (10) in direction of arrow and remove cover (2) from fuse and relay box (3)
5 Separate electrical connectors (4)
6 Detach electric cable (5) from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
7 Unscrew screws (6) and remove the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) from the fuse and relay box (3)

NOTE:
- Until the electrical connectors under the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) are accessible
- Installation: Pay attention to line routing Hooks (7) must latch in place

8 Unplug all electrical connectors from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)

NOTE: Installation: observe color codings

9 Unclip relay (8) with bracket from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
10 Remove driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
11 Install in the reverse order
12 Read out DTC memory
