51 16 216 Removing And Installing Rear Storage Compartment With Centre Armrest)

Special tools required:
- 00 9 317







Release screws (1) on left/right.
Remove cover (2) to left and cover (3) to right.







Snap out cover (1) and lift out.
Remove insert mat (2) and release screw underneath.







Installation: Catches (1) on cover (2) must not be damaged.







Carefully snap out handbrake gaiter (1) with special tool 00 9 317.
Remove insert mat (2) and release screw underneath.







Snap storage compartment (1) up and out of clips (2).
Raise storage compartment (1) and if necessary disconnect plug connections.
Remove storage compartment (1) towards top front.

Installation:
Make sure that no cables are trapped when installing the storage compartment (1).
If necessary, replace clips (2).
