SHIFT CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE - SERVICE MANUAL CORRECTION

[TSB Revision TSB-91-23-016]

PURPOSE
This Technical Service Bulletin corrects shift control solenoid valve information in the automatic transaxle section of the service manual. As a reference to this TSB, write the TSB Revision number in the TSB Revision box located at the bottom of each affected Service Manual page.

1989/90/91 Galant, Volume 3, Page 23-109.
1991 3000GT, Volume 1, Page 23-112.
1991 Eclipse, Volume 1, Page 23-196.

DETAILS OF CORRECTION





The callouts for SCSV-A and SCSV-B are reversed and the wiring colors in the solenoid installation chart are inconsistent with the wiring diagrams. Correct the SCSV-A and SCSV-B callouts and delete the wiring color information on each affected service manual page according to the following example:
