1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Discharge refrigerant from system.
3. Disconnect suction and liquid lines. Plug openings to prevent contamination.
3. Remove grommet cover.
4. Remove console assembly, then the glove box assembly.
5. Remove main lower crash pad, lower crash pad center fascia panel and lower crash pad center skin.
6. Remove evaporator case attaching bolts, then the evaporator case, Fig. 21.
7. Remove evaporator from evaporator case, Fig. 22.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
