BATTERY CONDITION INDICATOR - SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE

PURPOSE
This Technical Service Bulletin provides updated information for the battery condition indicator used on the 1991-92 Precis. As a reference to this TSB, write the revision number in the TSB Revision box located near the bottom of each affected service manual page.

1991 Precis, Volume 1, Page 27-25.
1992 Precis, Volume 2, Page 27-25.

DESCRIPTION
The battery condition indicator used on the 1991-92 Precis may display one of three colors, giving a visual indication of the battery's state of charge. A blue indicator means the battery is fully charged. A white indicator means the battery needs to be charged before further testing is performed. A red indicator means the battery electrolyte level is low and must be replenished using distilled water.
