Multi-Function Switch

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn pad, then the steering wheel using a suitable puller. Refer to procedure outlined under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY COMPONENTS/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES/STEERING WHEEL.
3. On models equipped with tilt steering, set the tilt position of the steering shaft to the lowest position.
4. On all models, disconnect column switch electrical connectors, then remove the cable band.
5. Remove column switch attaching screws, then the column switch from steering shaft.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
