Neutral Safety Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models with manual transmission, disconnect switch electrical connections, then remove switch from transmission.
2. On models with automatic transmission, proceed as follows:
a. Disconnect transmission gear selector cable from transmission.
b. Disconnect position switch electrical connections.
c. Remove manual control lever, then switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
