EGR Valve: Service and Repair
EGR Valve Location:
REMOVAL 1.
Remove vacuum hose and disconnect temperature sensor harness.
2.
loosen and remove mounting bolts.
3.
pull valve away from manifold to remove.
INSTALLATION 1.
Clean all gasket material from valve and manifold.
2.
Install valve in reverse order of disassembly, making sure to use a new gasket.
3.
Torque
EGR valve mounting bolts.
SPECIFIED TORQUE: 22 Nm (16 ft.lbs.)
